Toronto Film Festival 2012 is approaching to its end after 11 days full of

events, celebrities, surprises and of courses movies. Movies, for all types of cinema friends, all kinds of audiences; this festival had something to offer to everyone. But TIFF is also the festival where people have the power to select the best movie and present it with the People’s Choice Award, the highest prize of the festival.

Although there was a number of amazing and already awarded films in 2012 TIFF, there are two movies competing seriously for People’s Choice Award. The first one is “Argo”, a film directed by Ben Affleck (who also stars in it) based on a true story and the other one is the return of the Wachowski brothers (actually brother and sister now) who co-direct with Tom Tykwer “Cloud Atlas”, based on David Mitchell’s best-selling novel by the same name.

So, who will be the winner of the 2012 TIFF People’s Choice Award? Will it be one of the above two films or another movie will come as a surprise? Well, CinemaFriend makes its prediction which is “Cloud Atlas”. Although the film critics are divided we believe that Tom Hanks and Halle Berry have already won the audience’s favor. Let’s wait to see if CinemaFriend’s prediction will come true…
